Riverside Natural Foods Inc. is recalling eight different flavors of MadeGood granola bars due to the possibility of metal contamination, according to the company.
“There is a very small risk that some of our granola bar products made between January and November 2024 may contain a piece of metal,” MadeGood announced in a press release.
No injuries have been reported to date in connection with this recall.
The company released a full list of affected products here.
Some of the flavored bars included on the recall list include chocolate chip, strawberry, mixed berry and cookies and creme.
MadeGood is encouraging customers not to eat the product and to return it to the store for a full refund. The store will, in turn, destroy the product.
MadeGood added that it has carried out an investigation into where the recalled products were made and identified the source of the problem “that has been corrected,” according to the release.
