With the post office being closed and the United States Postal Service not making deliveries on Christmas Day, its hours might not be clear for Dec. 24.

People waiting on some deliveries on Christmas Eve are in luck.
The United States Postal Service (USPS) says on its website that mail will be delivered on Christmas Eve.
Is the post office open on Christmas Eve 2024?
People who need to stop by the post office will be able to visit on Tuesday.
United States Postal Service offices will be open.
Will FedEx, UPS and Amazon still be delivering on Christmas Eve 2024?
People opting for other delivery services can go with FedEx and UPS on Tuesday, too.
FedEx will make deliveries, but some services may be closed or have modified hours. The only FedEx service that will be closed is FedEx Freight, and FedEx Office and FedEx Express will have modified hours.
UPS will have normal delivery operations, although some UPS stores may have modified business hours. UPS Express Critical will also be available.
Also, if you’re waiting on last-minute Amazon orders, you’ll be able to receive them on Dec. 24.
Amazon delivery services will run as scheduled, and there are no expected delays related to the Christmas Eve holiday.
