Two 13-year-old boys have been charged with threatening to shoot a school teacher and attack a school in Mercer County, according to police.
A threatening voicemail message was left on a cellphone belonging to the sister of a teacher at Melvin H. Kreps Middle School in East Windsor Township on Monday afternoon, police said.
The caller threatened to shoot the teacher and “bomb and shoot up the school,” police stated. Students were on winter break on Monday.
Police determined that two 13-year-olds left the message. Both teens were charged with terroristic threats and are awaiting court hearings, police said.
Investigators determined that the youths had no access to firearms and police said there is no credible threat related to the incident.
