Starbucks dropped its winter 2025 menu Friday, adding a beverage that will join the coffee chain’s regular drink lineup in addition to two other new items.
There will also be four items returning to the menu for a limited time.
The following drinks are new to the menu:
- Cortado (NEW): The Cortado is the newest addition to Starbucks’ regular lineup of espresso beverages. The name of the drink, which has Spanish origins, comes from the Spanish word “cortar,” meaning “to cut.” It describes how the milk cuts through the espresso for a smoother taste.
- Brown Sugar Oatmilk Cortado (NEW): This is a non-dairy twist on the Cortado, featuring Blonde Espresso, steamed oatmilk and brown sugar and cinnamon.
Unlike most Starbucks drinks, which you can order hot or iced, you can only order these drinks hot and in a short (8-ounce) size.
The following drinks are returning to the menu:
- The Pistachio Latte and Pistachio Cream Cold Brew: Returning for a limited time, these drinks offer flavors of sweet pistachio with a brown-buttery topping.
Starbucks also released a new food item that is a new, vegan addition to the menu:
- Certified Vegan Spicy Falafel Pocket (NEW): The new offering is a smashed falafel with creamy hummus, roasted red bell peppers, pickled onions and a spicy herb sauce wrapped inside a toasted lavash flatbread.
In addition to the new food item, the coffee chain also brought back some fan-favorite food items to the menu for a limited time, including the Vanilla Bean Custard Danish and the Valentine’s Day Cake Pop.
