The New York Jets ended the season on a high note following their 32-20 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 18 at MetLife Stadium.
While the end was known with Gang Green being eliminated from playoff contention for nearly the last month, the Jets showed out in a large way, with QB Aaron Rodgers making history and the defense forcing four takeaways in the victory.
Despite a lot being unknown about if Rodgers will return and who will be the next head coach and general manager, we already know some important details about the 2025 season for Gang Green.
All of the Jets opponents for next season have been confirmed, with Gang Green already knowing their six home-and-home games against their AFC East counterparts (Bills, Dolphins and Patriots) while facing the AFC North and NFC South divisions.
Regardless of who is under center for Gang Green in 2025, it will be anything but a walk in the park. The Jets will face three MVP caliber QBs from the AFC — Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen and Joe Burrow — all on the road.
With the Jets finishing third in the AFC East, their final three opponents — AFC West, AFC South and NFC East — will be based off who also ended up third in those respective divisions.

When will the 2025 NFL schedule be released?
Unfortunately for football fans, they’ll have to wait until the spring to find out when and where each game will be played next season.
In recent history, the NFL has revealed the schedule some time in either the first or second week of May.
Here’s the last five years of when the league announced when they would release the schedule and the day the schedule was officially out:
- 2024: Wednesday, May 15 (announced May 13)
- 2023: Thursday, May 11 (announced May 8)
- 2022: Thursday, May 12 (announced April 21)
- 2021: Thursday, May 13 (announced April 21)
- 2020: Thursday, May 7 (announced May 4)
