A brief Christmas Eve storm brought 1 to 2 inches of snow to parts of New Jersey and at least some snowfall to 15 counties.
The latest reports from the National Weather Service shows the Green Pond area of Rockaway Township in Morris County got the most snow at 2.1 inches.
Passaic and Warren counties also had towns with reports of 2 inches.
The precipitation has ended for today and overnight lows will be in the 20s.
The forecast for Christmas Day calls for sunny skies with high temperatures in the 30s and low 40s. There’s a chance of some stray flurries on Wednesday night, the weather service said.
Similar conditions are expected through Saturday with temperatures rising a bit into the weekend before a chance for rain on Sunday into Monday.
