There won’t be any taunting banners flying over MetLife Stadium on Sunday, much to the delight of Giants co-owner John Mara.
That’s because High Exposure Aerial Advertising — a Woodbine-based company that launched the fan-ordered viral Giants banners this month — canceled orders for three banner-carrying planes to fly over MetLife Stadium before the Giants’ home finale against the Colts because of bad weather in the forecast, the New York Post reported Friday.
And while fans won’t be able to see the new banners in action — which has become the only interesting storyline lately in the Giants’ lost season — they can still imagine it. A spokesperson for High Exposure told NJ Advance Media on Friday afternoon what two of the three banners would have said, had they been cleared to fly:
“Mr. Mara — enough… Clean house or sell the team.”
“Are drones searching for Giants wins at home?”
A third plane was only tentatively scheduled, so the banner message wasn’t sent to High Exposure.
The first banner is clearly a dig at coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen, who are on the hot seat thanks to their 8-25 record since they won a playoff game in Minnesota in 2022. They are 2-13 this season, with 10 consecutive losses — a franchise record. They went 6-11 last year. As we learned two weeks ago, customers can’t outright say they want to “fire” Schoen or Daboll since High Exposure’s rules forbid it.

The second banner is a reference to the mysterious drones that have been flying through New Jersey airspace and the Giants’ embarrassing 0-8 home record.
While bad weather will stop the banners this week, the spokesperson said a different customer has ordered the following message to soar over Lincoln Financial Field when the Giants face the Eagles on the road on Jan. 5: “TY NY for No. 26″
This is obviously a reference to running back Saquon Barkley, who is 268 yards away from breaking the NFL’s single-season rushing yards record. He has two games remaining — against the Dallas Cowboys and Giants, in Week 18.
That might not be the only one. A Giants fan, who requested anonymity, told NJ Advance Media that he is planning to hire a plane, separate from the Barkley-themed plane banner, which is seemingly being done by an Eagles fan. The anonymous Giants fan’s banner message is still being planned. The fan, who hasn’t hired one of these planes before, wanted to hire one before Colts at Giants on Dec. 29 — but the air space was already fully booked. So he is pivoting to Giants at Eagles.
All of this comes three weeks after an anonymous fan ordered a banner that read, “Mr Mara Enough – PLZ FIX THIS DUMPSTER FIRE” ahead of the Giants’ loss to the Saints on Dec. 8.
One week later, a different fan — who spoke with NJ Advance Media after the game – saw his “MR MARA ENOUGH – WE WON’T STOP UNTIL YOU FIRE EVERYONE” banner fly before Giants-Ravens.
