State police are investigating after a shooting on Route 80 in Parsippany-Troy Hills came as an apparent act of road rage.
At about 6:18 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to what they called a “road rage shooting incident” on Interstate 80 eastbound near the 47B exit, according to statements by New Jersey State Police.
A silver minivan with an unidentified Pennsylvania license plate pulled alongside a blue Subaru Outback, and fired gunshots hitting the rear driver seat window but no injuries were reported, officials said.
State police released a portrait of the suspect on social media. No other details about shooting were revealed by police.

State police said anyone with information on the shooting should call 973-785-9412, which is the Troop “B” Totowa Station Detective Bureau.
