The NFL playoffs are underway with Wild Card weekend getting started Saturday afternoon and continuing with an action packed three-game slate today.
Despite being 2.5-point home underdogs, the Texans came out and dominated the Chargers 32-12, with Houston’s defense forcing QB Justin Herbert to throw more interceptions (4) in this contest than he did in 17 regular season games (3).
There was no upset brewing in the Ravens-Steelers matchup, with MVP favorite QB Lamar Jackson and RB Derrick Henry combining for 267 of the team’s 299 rushing yards as Baltimore cruised to a 28-14 victory over it’s AFC North rivals.
The action gets started this afternoon with the third and final AFC matchup, with fellow MVP front runner Josh Allen and the No. 2 seed Buffalo Bills hosting rookie QB Bo Nix and the No. 7 seed Denver Broncos.
Next up is the NFC’s first game of the weekend, with the No. 2 seed Philadelphia Eagles welcoming in No. 7 seed Green Bay Packers to the City of Brotherly Love.
Sunday’s finale features the No. 3 seed Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking on the No. 6 seed Washington Commanders in the night cap.
