Moneyline
The Lakers being moderate -165 favorites is actually quite telling to me. Any other time, the Lakers would be -190 at home against a one-man band in the Spurs.
There is a lot of drama surrounding the Lakers. Apparently LeBron is rumored to have beef with rapper Drake, who allegedly posted a freestyle about him over the weekend. Add in the real-life distractions with the fires, and I’m taking SPURS (+140).
Against the spread
Take ANTHONY DAVIS OVER 1.5 BLOCKS (-125). AD has 2, 5, 3 and 2 blocks over his last 4 games. He’ll get up for this challenge against Wemby, who averages 4 blocks a game in his own right.
Over/Under
