The Mavericks (-225) will win this game in Charlotte on Monday afternoon. I think it won’t be particularly close which is why I’m going to take my wager to the spread.
Against the spread

The Mavericks handled business against this team last season, winning both matchups, including a blowout 130-104 win on April 9. Luka Doncic won’t suit up for this game, but Dallas shouldn’t need him. Irving has been stepping up, averaging 26.1 points per game (PPG) over his last 6 contests.
Dallas snapped a 4-game ATS skid with the win over the Western Conference-leading Thunder, proving it can handle tough competition. The Hornets have won 3 of their last 4, but have been awful at home, dropping 10 of their last 11 games. They will also be without their second-leading scorer F Brandon Miller (21.0 PPG) indefinitely
