Yes, New Yorkers are seeing green up in the skies this Sunday evening.
The Empire State Building in Manhattan is honoring Saquon Barkley and the Philadelphia Eagles by shining its colors green early Sunday evening after the Eagles won the NFC championship.
It served as yet another reminder to New York Giants fans that they no longer have Barkley, who scored three touchdowns in the Eagles’ 55-23 victory over the Washington Commanders.
The next stop for Barkley and the Eagles is Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.
The Empire State Building’s ‘X’ account tweeted “I’m sorry I have to do this” as it displayed the green lights.

The account also stated that it would change its colors to honor the AFC champion at the conclusion of Sunday night’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.
The Chiefs won, 32-29, and the Empire State Building kept its word, changing its lighting to red for the rest of the night.
