Knight was solid in a 2-1 loss at the LA Kings Wednesday, stopping 26 of 28 shots. He’s 3-1-0 with a 1.12 GAA and .960 SV% in 5 appearances this month. He has not faced VGK since 2021-22, but he was 1-1-0 with a 2.53 GAA and .912 SV%.
The Knights have been using starter Adin Hill every other game as he has dealt with some injuries the last couple of seasons. So we’re projecting Samsonov for this one since Hill played Friday. Samsonov was in goal Thursday in the 4-2 win over the St. Louis Blues. He stopped 15 of 17 shots, but he really wasn’t tested much as their defense smothered St. Louis and took away the center of the ice. He stopped 45 of 49 shots in the 4-3 OT loss to Florida in October.

Keep in mind, if the Knights send Hill out there, I would probably go with them. As is, though, I like the PANTHERS +105. They’re playing their second back-to-back in 5 days, but they are playing much better of late. The Panthers have won 3 straight games against Vegas, including a 4-1 winner here last January.
Puck line/Against the spread
I’m going with JACK EICHEL OVER 0.5 POWER PLAY POINTS (+140) here. The Panthers are the fourth-most penalized team in the league with 10.2 PIMs per game. Eichel has power-play points in 2 straight games and 4 of 5 contests.
Over/Under
This should be a fun one. We’ve had a team score 4+ goals in 4 straight meetings against one another. Vegas is 3-0-1 O/U in its last 4, and Florida is 5-3 in its last 8.
