Authorities in Morris County announce the sentencing of Christina Susco, 38, Budd Lake, for Endangering Welfare of a Child.
Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, stated that on November 18, 2024, Susco pled guilty to one count of third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
According to Morris County officials, on January 17, 2025, the Honorable Ralph Amirata imposed a sentence of five (5) years of probation conditioned on serving 90 days in the Morris County Correctional Facility.Upon release, Susco is ordered to abide by all DCP&P recommendations, have no contact with the victim or her family, undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with any recommendations and to have not contact with the Mount Olive Child Care & Learning Center, where she is no longer employed, Morris County authorities said.
Morris County officials stated that the charges stem from the assault of a 16-month-old female child at the Mount Olive Child Care & Learning Center on March 25, 2024, by Susco, who was employed at the time as a teacher.
Following an investigation, Susco was subsequently charged, officials say.
