The field has been nearly cut in half with the 2024 NFL playoffs shifting to the Divisional Round this weekend.
The action kicks off on Saturday with two games, with the Chiefs and Texans getting things started in Kansas City and the night ending in Detroit with the Lions hosting the Commanders, who were the lone road team to win in the Wild Card round against the Buccaneers.
Kansas City and Houston should be familiar with one another, as the two AFC franchises faced less than a month ago with the Chiefs coming out on top 27-19 in Arrowhead on Jan. 21.
Saturday’s night’s showdown between the Lions and Commanders marks the first match between the two organizations since Sept. 18, 2022, when Detroit defeated Washington 36-27 at Ford Field.
A victory will advance the winning team to the conference championship round and only one win away from Super Bowl 59 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
