Mendham was awarded the No. 1 seed in the boys basketball Morris County Tournament on Sunday.
Morris Catholic, Madison, Chatham, Montville, three-time defending champion Delbarton and West Morris round out the top seven seeds, each of which received a bye into the second round.
Preliminaries must be played by Feb. 1 followed by the second round by Feb. 6. All games will be hosted by the better seed.
Quarterfinals are scheduled for Feb. 8 at Randolph. The semifinals will be Feb. 15 at County College of Morris. CCM will also host the final at 7 p.m. on Feb. 22.
