Kayla Brand
Randolph senior guard
Brand averaged 19 points, 6.3 rebounds, six assists, and four steals as Randolph went 3-0 last week, defeating Montville, West Essex and Morristown Beard.
Ryder Broking
Hackettstown freshman guard/forward
Broking had 12 points, two assists and two steals in a Jan. 10 48-29 loss to Jefferson. She had eight points, 10 boards and two steals as Hackettstown beat Vernon 48-33, for its second victory of the season on Jan. 6.
Danielle Cabsaba
Mount Olive junior swimmer
Cabsaba won the 200-meter IM and 100-meter backstroke at the U&ME Invitational on Saturday. In a dual meet against Sparta/Jefferson on Jan. 7, she won both her individual events, swam backstroke on the Marauders’ winning medley relay, and anchored the first-place 400 free relay.
Chris Ferrare
Montville junior guard
Ferrare averaged 15 points, 3.3 rebounds, seven assists and 2.7 steals as Montville went 3-0, defeating Morris Hills, Roxbury and Pope John.
Angelina Qualtieri
Lenape Valley sophomore wrestler
Qualtieri defended her 100-pound title at the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Championships on Jan. 5.
Alex Schmieder
Parsippany sophomore forward
Schmieder had 19 points and 10 rebounds in a 65-52 victory against Hopatcong on Jan. 8, his third double-double of the season. He also had 16 points and eight boards as Parsippany beat Boonton, 49-44, on Jan. 10.
Luke Shivas
Morris Knolls junior wrestler
Shivas went 4-0 at 165 pounds, with all four victories by pin, as Morris Knolls went 4-0, beating Mendham, Parsippany Hills, Edison and North Plainfield.
Mia Washington
Pope John junior guard
Washington averaged 21 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals as the Lions beat Mendham and Montville, and lost to Chatham last week. She scored a career high 29 against Montville on Jan. 10.
