Katie Cooper
Hackettstown freshman guard

Cooper scored a career-high 22 points, including five 3-pointers, as the Tigers beat Keswick Christian in St. Petersburg, Florida on Jan. 24.
Rinaldo DiGiacopo
Mountain Lakes senior wrestler
DiGiacopo became the second Morris County Tournament wrestling champion in Mountain Lakes history, and the first finalist since 2011. In the 175-pound final, he pinned Dimitrios Mihalakakos of Morristown at 4:48.
Taylor Hough
Kittatinny senior guard
Hough averaged 22.5 points, six rebounds, a block, 2.5 assists, and six steals as Kittatinny went 4-0 last week, defeating Millburn, Lenape Valley, Sussex Tech and Hopatcong.
Ava Insinga
Morris Catholic senior sabre
Insigna won seven of her nine A-strip bouts at the Morris County Tournament on Jan. 19, helping the Morris Catholic sabre squad finish third. She won five of six bouts, including the 100th of her career, as the Crusaders lost to Morris Hills and Morris Knolls last week.

Vincenzo LaValle
Hanover Park senior wrestler
LaValle won his third Morris County Tournament wrestling title with three pins and a tech fall. Along the way, the 190-pounder broke Hanover Park’s career wins record with 140. He was named the MCT’s Most Outstanding Wrestler. Earlier in the week, LaValle pinned Matias Acosta of Pequannock in 1:11, as the Hornets won a dual match, 74-6.
Anthony Piemonte
Mount Olive junior wrestler
Piemonte won the Morris County Tournament title at 126 pounds, defeating defending champion Nick DiFrancescantonio, 4-3, in the final to help Mount Olive its first team trophy. He also recorded a pin as the Marauders beat Pope John, 34-27, on Jan. 21.

Aarushi Singhal
Morris Hills sophomore epee
Singhal went 6-3 on the C-strip as Morris Hills’ epee squad finished second at the Morris County Tournament on Jan. 19. She also won all six of her individual bouts last week, going 3-0 in a 15-2 victory against Morris Catholic and a 19-8 loss to Chatham.
