It’s a battle of two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL as Patrick Mahomes and the reigning back-to-back Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs host Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in Sunday’s AFC Championship game.
It’s been a storied rivalry for Mahomes and Allen, with the all-time meeting between the two tied at 4-4. The Chiefs, however, have won when it matters most, beating the Bills all the three previous postseason meetings during this rivalry.
This includes last year, when Kansas City went to Buffalo and defeated Allen and Co., 27-24, scoring to advance to the AFC title game.
The two powerhouses met again earlier this season at Orchard Park, with the Bills coming out on top, 30-21, on Nov. 17.
Kansas City is trying to do what no team has done before in the Super Bowl era and win three consecutive Lombardi trophies, while Buffalo is aiming to get back to the big game for the first time since Super Bowl 28 in 1994.
