Kansas City’s quest to become the first NFL team to ever win three consecutive Lombardi trophies is still alive after a thrilling 32-29 win over the Bills in Arrowhead on Sunday night.
Championship weekend got underway in Philadelphia with the Eagles in full in control, as QB Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley combined for 134 rushing yards and six touchdowns on the ground, cruising to a 55-23 victory over their division mates.
This marks the second time in three years that Kansas City and Philadelphia will play with the Lombardi trophy on the line. The first meeting came when the Chiefs defeated the Eagles, 38-35 in Super Bowl 57, at State Farm Stadium in Arizona on Feb. 12, 2023.
